Meet the DoctorsShawn R. Kennedy, DDSDr. Shawn R. Kennedy completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburg in 1995. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1999, and he received his specialty certificate and Master's Degree in endodontics from the Ohio State University Graduate Endodontic Program. Dr. Kennedy has extensive training in Advanced MicroEndodontics and MicroSurgical Endodontics. He is an active member in the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, North Carolina Tar Heel Endodontics Association and Western Carolina Dental Society. His hobbies include golfing, hunting, and snow skiing. James C. Ewing, DDSDr. Ewing grew up in Houston, TX and graduated form Texas A&M University. He attended Dental School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Fort Carson, CO. Dr. Ewing completed his endodontic training with the U.S. Army Endodontic Program at Fort Gordon, GA in conjunction with the Medical College of Georgia. Free time is spent running and participating in triathlons, coaching youth sports, and spending quality time with his family. Dr. Ewing is a proud veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the US Army. Alison Mancia, DMDDr. Alison Mancia grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. After obtaining her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Mancia moved to New York City to further her education. She completed a two year residency for advanced training in general dentistry at Montfiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Mancia worked in private practice as a general dentist until she decide to pursue specialty training in endodontics at NYU Langone Hospital. Dr. Mancia is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, North Carolina Endodontic Society and American Dental Association. Dr. Mancia is married to a local oral surgeon in the area, Dr. Ben Mancia, and they have a son, Maceo. In her spare time, Dr. Mancia enjoys exercising, learning Spanish and traveling with her family! Jordan Johnson, DDSDr. Jordan Johnson was born and raised outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin (Go Pack Go). He obtained his degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, and then spent the next 4 years attending dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Johnson then graduated and moved across the country at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic to Seattle, Washington. It was there at the University of Washington that he completed his specialty training in endodontics. Dr. Johnson is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association and loves keeping up on all of the latest technologies and advancements in the field of endodontics. In his free time, Dr. Johnson loves loves staying active and being outside, hiking, walking his Mini-Goldendoodle Leo, skiing, golfing, and keeping up with his hometown Green Bay Packers. |
