Why We Use the Latest Technology
In the past, a root canal was not exactly the most comfortable procedure. However, despite popular beliefs that still exist, root canals are now virtually pain-free! This is partly due to new techniques, and partly due to the latest technology.
Newer technologies have also led to more precise procedures and more accurate results. This is particularly important because the canals within the root are very small, making it harder to eradicate the infection from certain areas. Our use of certain cutting-edge technology eliminates this problem.

3D Imaging: Dental cone beam tomography, or CBCT scans provide us with a more comprehensive overview of your oral health. We may suggest CBCT if a digital x-ray does not provide enough information. CBCT technology produces a 3D image of your teeth, soft tissues, and underlying bone within a single scan.

Global A Series Dental Operating Microscope: A root canal requires the utmost accuracy due to the intimate nature of the root’s structure. Our advanced global A series dental operating microscope allows for enhanced precision through a magnified image of the tooth.

Digital Radiographs: A digital x-ray is safer and more effective than a traditional film slide. Digital radiographs emit much less radiation, while providing an image that is easy to magnify on an attached monitor. This allows us to diagnose even smaller instances of decay, infection, and other damage to the tooth. |
